2017/2018 Admission: University of Nigeria Nsukka Announces New Dates for Post-UTME Screening Exercise

The University of Nigeria hereby invites candidates who had the UNN as their first choice in the 2017 University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 200 and above for screening exercise. This media announcement/publication supersedes the earlier one of Thursday, August 31, 2017.
Candidates are advised to please note the changes in the scheduled times and venues as the following will apply:
1. Online Registration
A. Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only) through Remita Platform at any Commercial Bank.
B. The online registration which commenced on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 (and ends on Sunday, September 10, 2017?) is still open till Monday, October 2, 2017 while the Post-UTME examination screening exercise will commence on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 and end on Monday, October 9, 2017.
C. Process Flow for Post-UTME Registration:
1. Log on to the University Website: www.unn.edu.ng
2. Click on UNN portal (Top right corner of the Website)
3. Click Prospective Students
4. Select Online Application Form for 2017/2018 Admission Screening Exercise
5. Enter JAMB Registration Number
6. Generate Invoice
7. Proceed to bank for Payment or pay using your ATM Card
8. Return to Portal
9. Re-enter JAMB Registration Number
10. Complete Date of Birth and all other blank fields
11. Enter O-Level Subjects and Grades (also provide your Centre and Examination Number)
12. ‎Re-enter your grades correctly
13. Upload Certificates (ensure that their sizes are not above 100KB)

2017/2018 Admission: Kogi State University Announces Post-UTME Screening Exercise

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Kogi State University, Anyigba, for the 2017/2018 Academic Session and who made the institution their FIRST CHOICE (MOST PREFERRED INSTITUTION ONLY), that they would be screened through a Computer-Based Test (CBT), in subjects similar to their UTME subject combination, starting from 26th September – 30th September, 2017 for UTME candidates only.

Candidates who made the University their SECOND CHOICE NEED NOT TO REGISTER for the Screening Exercise.
Candidates, parents, guardians, and the general public are to note that ability to read and click or move the mouse on the computer are the only requirements for the test.
  1.  QUALIFICATIONS FOR SCREENING 
  2. UTME Candidates (100 level). Only candidates with UTME Score of 160 and above and with requisite minimum of Five (5) O’Level Credit Passes in the relevant subjects, including English Language (and Mathematics for programmes in Faculties of Natural Sciences, Management Sciences, Agriculture, Social Sciences and Some programmes in the Faculty of Education) at not more than two sittings, are eligible to attend the Screening Exercise.

  1. REGISTRATION FOR SCREENING
  2. Registration for the Screening Exercise will start on Thursday, 14th September and close on Sunday, 24th September, 2017 at midnight.
  Details of the registration procedure are as follows:
  1. Candidates are to pay into Kogi State University Screening Account No: 1013062548. Bank Name: Any branch of Zenith Bank Plc. All payment will strictly be done using our online CollegePay Platform by using any bank ATM card on the portal. Amount N2,500.00(Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira Only) i.e N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) for Registration/Screening and N500.00 (Five Hundred Naira) for processing fee/ bank charges.
  2. Candidates are to obtain a PIN (Personal Identification Number) from the bank after the payment of N2,500.00 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira Only).
  3. Candidates should visit any Cyber café to register on-line on the Institution’s portal http://www.portal.ksu.edu.ng and follow the instructions accordingly.
  4. Candidate will be required to upload a scanned copy of their passport photograph (file size: not more than 20KB) with RED background.
  5. Candidates are to print out their respective schedule slip or registration slip containing Date and Time schedule for the test. The print out of the Schedule Slip or Registration Slip and the print out of the UTME result MUST be brought to the Screening Venue for submission to Screening Officers. The print out MUST be in COLOUR.
  6. Candidates MUST arrive at the Professor F.S. Idachaba Lecture Theatre ONE HOUR (1HR) before their Scheduled screening time to ensure proper briefing and accreditation.
  7. Candidates are to adhere strictly to their schedules.
  8. Candidates are prohibited from coming into the Examination Hall with phone(s) (Handsets), flash drive, modem, biro, pencil and/or any electronic gadgets.

Candidates are to note that registration after the closing date of 24th September, 2017, will not be allowed.

2017/2018 Admission: Fed Poly Ado-Ekiti Announces Post-UTME Screening Exercise


This is to inform the general public and the students mostly that the management of Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti has announced the Post-UTME admission screening exercise for 2017/2018 academic session

Eligible candidates are hereby invited for the 2017/2018 Admission Screening Exercise.

(A) ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

(i) All Candidates who chose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti as their First or Second Choice and obtained a minimum cut-off mark of 160 in the 2017/2018 UTME. In addition to the above, Candidates must possess five (5) O’ level subject requirements at Credit level in not more than two (2) sittings.

(ii) Any Candidates who scored 160 and above in the last UTME but did not choose the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti as either First or Second choice and are interested in changing their Institutions to the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti can do so.

(B) INSTRUCTIONS TO ALL CANDIDATES

-Log on to www. eportal.fedpolyado.edu.ng and click on UTME Application.
-Click UTME Screening to create account.
-Carefully create account with your UTME Registration Number and Personal Email.
-Click on the UTME Screening Form.
-Click Register and you will receive an email to VALIDATE.
-After ACCOUNT VALIDATION, Login with your email and password
-You will be redirected to the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti College PAY environment.
-Make payment of N2, 000.00 exclusive of Bank charges with the use of Master Card or Verve Card.
-You will be redirected back to the Application Portal and a copy of the receipt number will be sent to your registered email address.
-Print your receipt by clicking on My Payment Menu.
-Go back to the application dashboard, select the program applied for and click Already Paid.
-Type the receipt number, click search to load your payment details.
-Click Proceed to Registration and carefully fill in your details.
-Preview, confirm, submit and print out the completed form.
-Carefully read through your application before submission.

2017/2018 Admission: Umaru Musa Yar’adua University Post-UTME Screening Dates 2017/2018 Rescheduled


All candidates who choose Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) as their 1st choice for the 2017/2018 session, and had successfully registered or are currently doing registration for the post UTME screening/examination are hereby informed that the Management of the University had approved that the earlier scheduled dates for the screening/examination be shifted as follows:

Candidates whose screening and aptitude test were scheduled for 26th September 2017 are now rescheduled for Thursday 5th October, 2017

Candidates whose screening and aptitude test were scheduled for 27th September 2017 are now rescheduled for Friday 6thOctober, 2017

All candidates are to note that except for the change in dates of the screening & aptitude test, the time for the exercise as contained on their printed examination schedule remains the same.

Candidates awaiting NECO results are also informed that the online registration portal is now enabled to allow them to register with awaiting result. However, such candidates are requested to forward a hard copy of the NECO results as soon as it is available.

Scholarships: Quest University, Canada 2018 Undergraduate Full Tuition Scholarships
